Terms and Conditions

Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and purchase of products from Etch with Love ("we", "us", or "our"). By placing an order or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Product Information

  1. All our products are individually handcrafted using laser cutting and engraving. Colouring is completed manually with acrylic paint. As a result, slight variations in appearance, colour, and finish may occur, adding to the uniqueness of each piece.

  2. Images on our website are for reference only. Colour, grain, and finish may differ slightly depending on the material and screen settings.

  3. Personalised items are custom-made and based on the information you provide. Please ensure all details are correct before submitting your order.

  4. Our products are designed as decorative keepsakes and are not intended to be used as toys.  Please supervise young children when they are near these items to ensure safe use

Ordering and Payment

  1. Orders are confirmed once full payment is received.

  2. We accept payments via credit card and bank transfer.  

  3. Once confirmed, orders cannot be cancelled if production has commenced.

Design Confirmation

  1. For personalised orders, a digital proof will be provided within [e.g. 3 business days] after payment and receipt of the drawings and/or handprint/footprint.

  2. You are responsible for reviewing the proof for spelling, layout, and design accuracy.

  3. We will proceed to production once we receive your written approval. No changes can be made after approval.

Shipping and Delivery

  1. We currently ship within Australia via Australia Post or other registered couriers.

  2. Local delivery (without tracking) is free within designated delivery zones.

  3. For all other areas, Standard and Express shipping options are available at checkout. A tracking number will be provided once your order is dispatched.

  4. Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by carrier delays, public holidays, or peak periods.

  5. For Standard and Express shipping, risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer upon dispatch. Compensation for lost or damaged parcels may be claimed in line with the courier’s policy (e.g., Australia Post includes coverage up to $100).

Intellectual Property

  1. All designs, images, and content are the property of Etch with Love and are protected by copyright.

  2. Unauthorised use, reproduction, or resale of our products or designs is strictly prohibited.

  3. Wholesale arrangements must be approved by us in writing. Reselling without permission may result in legal action.  To explore wholesale options, please reach out to us at etchwlove@gmail.com.

Resale Restrictions

  1. Reselling our products under a different business name or ABN without an approved wholesale agreement is a direct breach of our store policy.

  2. Unauthorised resale may result in contact from our team or legal representatives.

  3. Examples of policy violations include:

  4. Purchasing our products (personalised or not) with the intent to resell — all our designs are original and thoughtfully developed.

  5. Featuring our items in another store or sales platform without written permission — whether as standalone products or bundled (e.g. gift sets or DIY kits).

  6. Such activities are strictly prohibited and will be addressed accordingly.

  7. Individuals may resell previously purchased items on platforms like Facebook Marketplace, eBay, or Gumtree for non-commercial purposes.​​​​

Liability

  1. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products.

  2. Buyers are responsible for ensuring that personalised content (e.g. names, quotes) is appropriate and accurate.

Privacy

  1. Personal information provided to us is handled in accordance with our [Privacy Policy / Australian Privacy Principles].

  2. We will not share your data with third parties unless required by law or necessary for order fulfilment.

Amendments

  1. These Terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page.

  2. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
